A. Subject matter of the contract

A. 1 The general terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the legal relationships between you and the services provided by Escape Adelboden (hereinafter escape Adelboden) or other activities offered by escape Adelbdoen.

B. Conclusion of contract

B. 1 The contract between you and escape Adelboden is concluded with the unconditional acceptance of your written, telephone or personal registration at the booking Office (booking form, contact person for escape Adelboden).
From that date, the rights and obligations under the contract (including these terms and conditions) will be effective for you and escape Adelboden.

B. 2 if the person in attendance registers other participants in the event, it shall be responsible for their contractual obligations as for their own obligations.

C. Services

C. 1 Our services are derived from the specifications in the catalogue and from the event documents.

Special requests on the part of the participants or ancillary agreements are only part of the contract if they have been confirmed by the booking office in writing and without reservation.

The services of escape Adelboden begin, if not otherwise noted in the event description, with the arrival of the participants at the location in the sport Arena Adelboden.

Each participant is responsible for the arrival and the timely arriving.

Note that the time Windows for each group are reserved separately and the room is prepared accordingly.

In the case of a late, the entitlement to the paid service expires. There is no entitlement to a substitute service.

D. Prices and terms of payment

D. 1 The prices for the events are indicated online in the section «Booking».
The prices are, if nothing else is mentioned in the tender, for the whole group in Swiss francs.
The prices valid at the time of booking are decisive.
The prices are inclusive. Sales tax.

D. 2 The terms of payment are set out in the booking system.
The amount will be paid on site by credit card or cash.

D. 3 in case of special arrangements (team events, team training events) a booking confirmation with Invoice will be delivered.

Unless otherwise agreed, the invoice is to be paid no later than 14 days prior to the event being carried out.

In the event of late payment, the service participant must contact the organiser at an early stage.

Escape Adelboden as organizer and operator does not carry out any payment reminders in this respect.

E. Conditions of participation

E. 1 The maximum number of participants per game is six people.

E. 2 The minimum age for participation in Escape Adelboden is 8 years.
The participation of persons under the age of 16 is only possible in the company of adults.

E. 3 Escape Adelboden is not suitable for people with space anxiety, panic attacks, uncomfortable in cramped and dark rooms or similar.

F. Terms of Use

F. 1 The consumption of food and beverages of all kinds is prohibited during the stay in the scope of escape Adelboden.

F. 2 The participants are fully liable for intentional damage to equipment and objects.

F. 3 These Terms of Use shall be made known to the participants orally before the game.

F. 4 The instructions of the head of the game must be strictly follow.

G. Amendment concerning registration or cancellation of participation

G. 1 After the conclusion of the legally valid contract according to section B. 1, a change or transfer of your booking is no longer possible.

G. 2 The conclusion of the contract refers in particular to the booked time window as well as the number of persons participating.
Since different prices are required for different group sizes, it is not possible to change the number of participants after conclusion of the contract.

G. 3 in case of cancellation by the participant or not appearing at the agreed time there is no entitlement to a refund of the admission fees.
Escape Adelboden endeavours to find an amicable solution in such a case.

H. Programme changes by Escape Adelboden, cancellation of the implementation

H. 1 Escape Adelboden reserves the right to make minor changes to the services.
This does not affect the validity or content of the present subject of the contract.

H. 2 It may happen that escape Adelboden cancels an event resp. Must cancel a transaction.
In this case the participant is immediately informed and an equivalent offer is submitted to him.
Should the participant not be able to enter this, there is a right to a refund of the paid price.
Entitlement to further remuneration for expenses or losses is excluded.

H. 3 the entry to the event escape Adelboden may be refused to the participants (group or individual group members) without giving any further reasons, if these are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs or behave otherwise unreasonable.
In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund.

H. 4 If escape Adelboden has the right impression that the participants are using violence and destroying the establishment wantonly, the entry can be refused without giving any further reasons.
In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund.

I. Force Majeure

I. 1 if the event has to be cancelled due to force majeure, there is no entitlement to compensation.
Force majeure is events that escape Adelboden could neither foresee nor avert.
These include: War, civil War, terrorism, political unrest, natural disasters, nuclear events, fire/water damage or equivalent events.

K. Liability of escape Adelboden

K. 1 The insurance is the responsibility of the participants.

K. 2 Escape Adelboden ensures that the agreed services are provided with appropriate care and knowledge.
The liability is assumed by the breakout Basel if the contractually agreed agreements are not fulfilled or defective due to omissions of the escape Adelboden, their employees or suppliers.

It should be noted that it is the responsibility of the participant (s) to prove that the appropriate care and knowledge has not been provided.
A liability to the employees and suppliers of escape Adelboden is only applicable if they have stood in a valid contractual relationship with the escape Adelboden at the time of the service.

K. 3 Escape Adelboden assumes no liability for direct or indirect damages such as injuries of any kind, deaths, losses (e.g. unperceived pleasure) or similar.
Nor does escape Adelboden assume liability for services to third parties.

K. 4 Disclaimer website
The author accepts no liability whatsoever for the accuracy, accuracy, topicality, reliability and completeness of the information.
Liability claims against the author for damages of a material or intangible nature, which result from the access or use or Non-use of the published information, misuse of the connection or technical malfunctions are excluded.

L. Privacy Policy

L. 1 during the game, the group is accompanied by a so-called game manager in real time using video cameras installed in the rooms.
These only serve to ensure that the game manager is informed about the current game progress of the group and, if necessary, can provide tips in terms of assistance.

The video images, including sound, are transferred directly to the game manager in real time on the screen in the hall.
There is no storage of the images, nor a transfer to other screens or use for other purposes.

Escape Adelboden reserves the right to publish these photos on their homepage or social media such as Facebook or Twitter.
Unless this is explicitly prohibited by the participants.
The rights to the pictures go to escape adelboden.

L. 3 website
Based on article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection regulations of the Federal Government (Privacy Act, DSG), each person is entitled to the protection of their privacy and to the protection against misuse of their personal data. We abide by these provisions. Personal data is treated strictly confidential and is not sold or passed on to third parties.
In close cooperation with our hosting providers, we endeavour to protect the databases as much as possible from external access, loss, misuse or counterfeiting.
